It was an unusual weekend for us. Nancy woke up Saturday morning with her face and lips swollen up for the third time in nine months. The other two time we were on the road traveling and she went to the Med-Express places where they gave her medicine for allergies. In these two visits they just said she had reactions to something but had no idea what it could be.
When she went to the Gulf Coast Medical Center this time the doctor looked at her and asked her if she takes Lisinopril which she does for her high blood pressure. He told her that could be what the reaction was from and for her to stop taking it.
He then gave her three different shots and some prescription medicine and told her to come back the next day which was yesterday.
So it was back to the doctor yesterday morning. The doctors rotate on the weekends and she saw a different doctor who told her the same as the first doctor did.
The two doctors were of a younger age that the others that she saw and maybe are one up on the things that they have studied in Med School.
Anyway the swelling has gone done quite a bit and she is feeling better.
Even though with the trip to the doctor I still got to see my College Basketball Games.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Glad Nancy is doing better. It is Scary stuff when you start reacting to medicines that are supposed to help you.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
I had the exact same reaction and ER doc said it was Lisinopril...they gave me Benedryl and swelling went down. I'd been taking it for several years so I was very surprised but Dr said seen it many times with that medication.
