Great Start

What a way to start the day. Nancy fixed biscuits, eggs, bacon and potatoes. That with coffee and jelly is starting the day with a "bang" for me.
Now we have to go and walk it off.

Work

I see the park handy man's kart next door. He seems to stay very busy. I guess a park full of elderly people and those that don't feel like doing anything since they retired he has all of that work.

Pizza

We had a large pizza for our dinnier this evening. Ci Ci's had a special on the large pizza to go at $4.99 +tax. Not a bad deal and a good pizza.

Beach

We walked in a park today where the trail lead out to the gulf. We walked along the beach where the scenery is beautiful.

Along the way we came upon this small lagoon. Nice and peaceful along this part of the gulf. We enjoyed the sound of the waves with a gentle breeze blowing just enough to keep you cool and the birds in the trees singing their songs.

Daily Walk

10:30AM
As we do our walking each day we watch things in the park.
Here is a Sandhill Crane setting on eggs. It is hard to tell if this is the male or female,as they both take turns setting on the eggs. We are anxiously waiting for them to hatch. We watch the different flowers bud and bloom out.
11:00AM
This is the road leading out of the park. We go out and down the street, around and back for our early walk.

Lonesome Dove

10:00AM
Saw this lonesome dove sitting on the wire all by itself. Usually when you see these mourning doves there are two of them.

Beach

3:00PM
We did get out after it warned up. All the way uo to 76* today. After we did our walking we got to the beach and put out our loungers and sat out by the water for awhile. It was a welcome change after the cold weather we have been having.

Brrrrrrrrrr Cold!

7:30AM
This was not a typical Florida morning. We woke up with the temp 26*.
It is going to be nice now with temp 61* for today and then up in the 70"s.
This will be a lot better. Don't like the cold.

Walking

10:00AM
Its great to walk each day and see the many different things. These wildflowers we noticed today as we were walking. You can walk the same path each day and see things for the first time that have been there all along.

Weather Changing

2:00PM

When we were out walking 3 hours ago the sun was shining and the temperature was 73*. It started to rain about an hour ago and the temp has fallen to 56*. You just have to take what you can. It was nice this morning.

Construction

Some construction going on at a site on Little Road. This is 300 yards to the south of our park entrance. Looks to be a condo or office buildings. This is prime property.

Pizza!

After church we stopped by the Domino's Pizza place and picked up a pizza and some Chezzy Bread. May not be the best Sunday dinner, but it was good. Nancy likes pizza anytime and so do I.

Rain,Rain,Rain

After all day Friday and Friday night into Saturday afternoon the rain has finally stopped. There were reports of anywhere between 5"-10" of rain during this time period in Tampa. Streets were flooded and several roofs collapsed because the drain couldn't drain the water fast enough.

Cedar Key

We're going up to Cedar Key today to check out and see what this little village is all about. Its around 100 miles to the north of us. Hopefully it will be worth the trip.

Cedar Key.Florida

We did get to visit Cedar Key. Not much there. An old fishing village that time has passed by. They harvest clams and fish. They do have some modern condos.

Small street with the restaurants built out over the gulf waters.r

Water Pressure

When we hooked up in the campground I just connected the hose and turned it on. It had a lot of water pressure (which was nice)I just left it. More I though of it the more concerned I became about it. To much pressure isn't good for rv pipes. So yesterday I put on the little pressure regulator that fits on the hose(45 psi)wasn't enough. Today I changed out and put the house regulator on which is 55 psi. This gave enough water and is not hard on the pipes.
