Panther Creek State Park

After emptying the tanks yesterday we were on our way.  The trip was mostly on route 25E going south sometimes through a small town with traffic. This time of year there are a bunch of motor bikes on the road.
Also the scenes I like with the barns and rolling hills.
Now doesn't this look better than the miles and miles of nothing but the big road of the interstates.
It sure would be relaxing to be sitting down on the bank of the river fishing.
We had one large mountain to cross that took a little while getting to the top.
When we get to the top of this mountain we usually like to have our lunch of a sandwich and chips while looking at the scene of the mountain tops and Cherokee Lake below.
A closer view of the lake. I sure like the different scenes as we travel the roads every turn in the road seems to be more beautiful then the one before. I will have to say though sometimes some of them are not so good looking but at least they are different. Every turn I the road and every mountain to is exciting to see you never know what is coming up.
After getting to the park and putting all the things in order we went to the Hillbilly Cabin Restaurant to eat supper.  Nancy had the grilled chicken with pinto beans, slaw and corn bread while I had the pulled pork bar-b-que, pinto beans, slaw, fries and a roll. Nancy said her meal was delicious and my pork was some of the best I've eaten.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
