I woke up this morning with the news that sheriff Eugene Crum of Mingo County,West Virginia had been shot and killed yesterday. Eugene was a friend of mine from way back as we worked together for a few years before he became interested in politics.
Today Nancy has an appointment with the cardiologist and get a full report of the cath he did last week,then we will go from there. This has been a long drawn out process for a year now trying to figure out what is wrong with Nancy.

This is the travels of Joe and Nancy. Nancy is part Cherokee and I'm Hungarian, thus the name of our blog. We started full timing May,1,2000. We traveled in our motorhome visiting beaches,state parks,national parks,corp of engineer parks. We have overnighted in Walmarts, 24 hour grocery store, boat ramps, FlyingJ. Now with health issues and old age. Plus, we have not used the motorhome in a few years, this part of our life has come to an end.

Sorry to here about your friend Sheriff Crum. Being retired from the Detroit PD it's always a sad day when a brother officers comes to the end of his tour. The day before we had 2 Detroit officers wounded in a shootout, thank God both were treated and released the next day.
