Yesterday Nancy and I got a chance to go down to the John Chesnut Park in Pinellas County. It was a nice day with the temp near 80°.
Come and go with us as we walk through the park.
The first thing was Tarpon Lake with its cool breeze, that felt good on a warm day.
Upon gazing out on the water we saw this aligator which looked to be 5-6 foot in length.
Of course there is always a squirrel.
This cardinal wasn't a bit shy as it let me get within 4 feet of it to take a couple of snap shots.
No it wasn't scared it was the wind blowing that raised the feathers on the crown.
A couple of the 5 deer we saw.
Even the turtle was at rest in the sun.
It was really nice to get out and get our walking in for the day.
