Dinette Cushions Finished

It was back to the dinette cushions yesterday. well actually it was the trim around the cushions and not the cushions themselves.  After taking the trim off I had to strip the material off of the wood remove more staples that was used to hold the material than was really needed.  It seems that at times it takes longer preparing to do the work than doing the work.
Stretching the new material and doing the stapling was going along good until the staple gun decided to not shoot out the staples.  My first thought was I was out of staples but taking a look that was not the problem.  My stapler thought after using it for at least 25 years it was time to retire. I thought well old friend if you want to quit you just go ahead you have served  me well.  So in the trash it went, but wait this was a Sear Craftsman Stapler I wonder do they still honor the lifetime warranty I will find out.
I went to Walmart and bought a new Arrow T-50 Stapler with that in hand I finished up the trim pieces. Nancy and I thought the project turned out pretty good.

This is the before photo with the cushion pattern and the olive green trim.  Fifteen years old and very worn.

This is the after photo with the light gray and white cushion and the dark gray trim.  It does look a better and much brighter.

So now to the next project as I have three of them flowing around in my head I just have to make up my mind which one to do first.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
