Aripeka, Florida

Yesterday Joe and I went for a ride to look around the area for things he had not seen here.

We went to Aripeka, this is a small community that I enjoy driving through a few times when we are here for the winter months.  This small place has not changed hardly any since the 40's and maybe longer than that.  I will not go into detail about it but if you google it you will find a little bit of good reading.
Aripeka on the gulf, the biggest thing going on that I can see is kayaking and fishing which is done by boat or fishing off the bridge.  The community does set a short distance back from the main gulf but easy to navigate out to.  There are several houses on a piece of land that juts out in the water with a lovely view.
A Pelican watching a boat going by maybe thinking wonder if they will catch anything.
It was a nice 84* and sunny day for Joe and I to be out.
Someone has a nice view from their backyard.
It must be nice to have your own orange tree for that fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning.
The water back in the sawgrass and mangrove trees.

I had to wake up early this morning and get to the doctors office for the echocardiogram.
Since I was up and out it was a good time for all of us to get out and see what we could get into.
After getting back from the echocardiogram we are now waiting for Nancy to complete her chore of getting ready.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
