Good Weekend

This is the way I started saturday.  Nancy always has me a large breakfast on saturday's.  Eggs mixed with tomato and onions, home fries, country ham, buscuit with butter and jelly, coffee. There was also gravy to add to all of that. I told her with a breakfast like that, the day couldn't hardly get any better. It did though I got my saturday college basketball games fix.
After church yesterday we stopped again at the Caposey's Restaurant for lunch.  We got back home changed clothes and went to John Chesnut Park to do much needed walking. This turtle was the only wildlife that we saw.
We also went on the Peggy E. Park trail.  Named after the park ranger that was killed in the line of duty when she came upon a couple of poachers on this trail that took her life.
The trail goes along the Tarpon Lake then comes in along a lagoon.

It was a very nice day at the park.  We think it was the largest crowd we have seen at the park, with all the shelters full and more than a couple of birthday parties.
Have yourself a great day and be thankful for what you have.
