Out & About

 Yesterday we needed to do more walking.  So first it was to Port Richey Waterfront Park which is a nice short walk.

 As we walked out on the pier we saw this large metal ball. Maybe a New Years eve dropping ball?  I saw what may be a bird on top.  

 So I zoomed in to get a closeup and sure enough it looked like a hawk or osprey keeping close watch. I could also see lights on the ball,so yes it is for New Years eve.

 We walked out on the short pier to see if we could spot a manatee or two.  No luck in seeing the manatee. From the park we went to the mall to get some added walking in.

By the time we did our walking it was time to eat. We went to Cracker Barrel to eat and use the gift certificate the Mark and Sherry gave us.  We had a nice evening meal.  This meal was to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary.  It was a day early,but we will be busy today and yesterday was a better time.
