A visit to Buc-ee's

More catching up for you.

While visiting with son Joe I had slipped coming down his back steps and bumped my shin on the bottom step. Man did that hurt, but I thought nothing about it until a few days later when the big lump on my shin didn't shrink at all. So with Nancy and son Joe's urging me I went to an Urgent Care to have them look at it and an Xray just showed no broken bones just a large "hematoma".

Then a few days later when we were visiting brother Nick my foot was turning blue, I was off to Urgent Care for another look and xray of the foot. Well in short no broken bones in foot, but I have strained muscles and tendon at angle. Also I have to wear a boot on the left foot with the damage for at least six weeks.

Before I had to ware the boot brother Nick and I was doing the running around as we always do.one of the things was to a new Buc-ee's fuel stop that just opened the day before we arrived.

I have heard about Buc-ees and knew they were in the western states, but now there is one in Georgia.

It is right off of I-75 exit 146 in Warner Robins, it has 116 fuel pumps.  This place is very crowded.

At this station there are three ladies putting together the sandwiches as fast as they can while a line of people are picking them up and proceed to the register to pay for them.

Here are the self serve drinks, with that many more back the other way.

This place has a little of everything.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Keeping your foot elevated with Cold Compresses will help take the swelling down.
It sucks that things like that never bothered us years ago.
Have to listen to Nancy more often. She's your partner in life.
Be Safe and Enjoy getting healed up.

It's about time.
