Things still happening

Well the lightning and thunder storms have finally let up on us.  Now we are in a heat wave.
The temperatures have been around 95 with this weekend going up to 96-97 degrees and will be feeling like 110.
Needless to say I have been staying inside as much as possible, but as you know that is hard to do.

Nancy is still slowly getting better and trying to do some things so she can strengthen her body back up.

We have stayed here so long that we have had to get our medications refilled and at time that is a hassle.
Nancy spent half of yesterday on the phone between her doctor and Walgreens getting one of her prescriptions filled.

As expected in an old rv things wear out.  This time it is the thetford toilet that is not holding water.
This is usually not a problem, just have to replace the old seal with a new one but--------no one has a new seal in stock, not even Thetford.  That is until September, 14.
So I put a little cooking oil on the seal to expand it until I can get a new one.

We are still eating good so we are thankful for that.  Here is the breakfast that I call a rough omelet with egg, onion, and sausage with toast tomato and coffee.

Yesterday we had bbq ribs ready to eat from the Harvey's Market, Bushes BBQ Beans, french fries, corn, slaw and a diet ginger ale to drink.  Nancy, Sherry and I really did over eat on this one.

I hope all of you have a safe and enjoyable week end and thank you for stopping by.

If you still want to get out for your walk do it in the early morning.
It's nice to read that Nancy is slowly recovering.
Those meals definitely look tasty and filling.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.
