Thursday I took Nancy in for her appointmet with the Nephrologist(kidney specialist). She asked Nancy how she was feeling and if she had been cutting down on her potassium,Nancy told her she was. Then they went over the bloodwork sheet that Nancy had done. Her electrolites had dropped which was good and also her potassium level was down 3 points. Nancy needs her potassium level down to the number 2 and she will be able to have the cardiac catheterization. Something about if its too high the kidneys won't clear the dye that they use during the procedure.
Yesterday Nancy said she needed to get out of the house so we went to Walmart to do some shopping. By the time we got back home Nancy was exhausted. The Nephrologist told her that she may have some blockage going into her kidneys and she would tell the Cardiologist to check when he is doing the cardiac chatheterization.
These Ibis were out in the lake feeding.
We had a nice snset the other evening.
