The other day we were going to Walmart and on the way I stopped at a couple of roadside markets. The first market I bought some more of the good tasting tomatoes at 99¢ a pound.Walmarts price was $2.78 and not as tasty. The second roadside market I bought 8 ears of corn which was fresh and sooo sweet. The best corn I've tasted in several years. The price was 4 for $1.00,the Walmart price is 33¢ each and a little dried out.
Yesterday it was time to get up early and change the oil and filter plus greasing the motorhome. Slowly getting things together for the summer travels.
This is the travels of Joe and Nancy. Nancy is part Cherokee and I'm Hungarian, thus the name of our blog. We started full timing May,1,2000. We traveled in our motorhome visiting beaches,state parks,national parks,corp of engineer parks. We have overnighted in Walmarts, 24 hour grocery store, boat ramps, FlyingJ. Now with health issues and old age. Plus, we have not used the motorhome in a few years, this part of our life has come to an end.
