Critter Day

Went to the John Chesnut Park agian yesterday.  This part of the lake was nice were we parked. Most of the water has pollen floating on top of it.

Walking around the lake this heron was trying to hunt up some food.

 We got on one of the several board walks along the trail.

It was a good thing we were not on the same level as this snake,because another snake came along and ran it in the water.  Thats when we skidooed on down the trail.

On the way back this squirrel found a peanut from somewhere.

We saw this large turtle in the water as we crossed the bridge.

Looking at the car,it looked as though a small gator was wanting to come home with us.

It looks like this poor little fella just couldn't resist chasing someones fishing lure. Maybe in time he will be able to spit it out.
This was a great day to be out walking because all the animals were out also.
