Taking a break

After trying to get the Onan generator to start with out any success I decided to take a little break.
I think the problem might be the #2 spark plug wire or the field coil.
It is not a matter of just pulling the wire of and changing it because the wire is molded in with the coil and by all accounts the generator has to come out of the motorhome.  Then the bottom half needs to be taken off to get to it where the fly wheel is located.

We all know if the designers of these things had to work on them things would be easier to repair.

On a bright note though our daughter Sherry is coming to visit us and staying until we leave for the summer.  She will be with us until we arrive at her house in Spencer, West Virginia.

So my day will be for therapy at 11:00 am then picking Sherry up at the airport in St, Petersburg later in the day.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Again good luck with your Onan, I agree they are not easy to access for repairs.

When you mentioned the Coil it dawn on me that there are caps that cinch the Plug Wires into the Coil for a Single Ignition on both cylinders. Not sure why you want to access the Flywheel?
Be Safe and Enjoy your daughter's visit.

It's about time.
