Cardiac Arrest

Things will be going slow for the next few months. On April,20 I had a heart attack, the wife called 911 and when we got to the hospital I went into cardiac arrest. The emergency crew in the hospital had to use the defibrillator twice to shock my heart to start beating. I had 100% blockage. With the angioplasty and a stent I'm on the mend. Hope to have many more photos and writings on the web site.

Dermatologist

After having to go to the dermatologist in March and taking a biopsy from a place on my back and then having it cut out. I had my check-up today and he said it looked all clear.
Now if I can get the other doctors to do their stuff and turn me loose we can get on the road.

Car Washing

Had to get up early and wash the car. The park lets us wash the car on Tuesdays. The pollen is about gone so the car stays clean most of the time.

Wash Day

Another wash day at the laundromat and nothing else much happening today.

Oh,they are working on the Park road. For some reason they're taking up the asphalt in places and laying in flat brick. Everyone in the park is wondering why they are doing this?

Easter Dinner

After church we decided we would go out to Golden Corral for dinner. Those plans changed when we got there because the line was out the door. We drove north on rt 19 to find another place. Todays dinner was Chinese Buffet. After two plates of food and a plate of desserts. I thought this was a good idea. Unlike the Easter dinners from past years that we have had. This one wasn't the boiled eggs and ham dinner.

Heading Back

After a week of fun our son(Joe) his wife(Cherisa)and grandson(Haven)are heading back to Tennessee. A week of vacation in Florida enjoying the beaches and seeing alligators and the different type of birds and having all kinds of fun. Yesterday while walking on the beach gathering shells Haven found a sharks tooth which thrilled him to no end. Now it is time for them to get back to work and school. Taking back a few memories. It has been a good week for all of us.

Homosassa Springs

We went up to the Homosassa Springs Widlife State Park today. we saw the manatees which excited Haven so much he could hardly stand still. we saw a lot of wild life that are native to Florida.

Flamingos

The flamingos were nice and pink,they are beautiful. They get their pink color from eating shrimp.

Hippo

We got to see the hippo show. Wasn't exactly a show they just fed the hippo a little so everyone could see how wide he could open his mouth.

Beach Life

Our son and his family are down from Tennesse for a weeks vacation. Haven the grandson had never seen the beach and salt water before had a ball playing in the sand and the waves of Clearwater beach. This is a picture of the gang. Haven,Cherisa,Joe Nancy and myself.
