We arrived here monday evening. We are visiting our grand son Jeremy his wife Tiffany and the two great grand children. We are staying in their drive way and will be ere until Sunday. We will then continue south towards Florida for the winter. We will have several stops along the way.
This is the travels of Joe and Nancy. Nancy is part Cherokee and I'm Hungarian, thus the name of our blog. We started full timing May,1,2000. We traveled in our motorhome visiting beaches, state parks, national parks, corp of engineer parks. We have overnighted in Walmarts, 24 hour grocery store, boat ramps, FlyingJ. Now with health issues and old age. Plus, we have not used the motorhome in a few years, this part of our life has come to an end.

Douglas Lake
We are here at the TVA Head Waters campground on Douglas Lake,Tennessee. We will be leaving monday heading south. We were going to stay another week but,the Authority decieded to close the campground November the 1st. This campground is usually open year round. Probably due to budget cuts. This is another nice place where you can park beside the lake.

Free Parking
Well the week end found us attending our church homecoming in Matewan,WV. We parked behind the police station. Saturday night they had their Halloween block party in the area you see in the picture. Put on by the town fire department. With games and free hot dogs, chips and soft drinks. I got 2 hot dogs and chips. How about that a free place to park and free food. Now thats hard to beat.

We're Not Lost
Its been a long time since I last posted. The reason I have'nt been able to get on line with my cell phone. I'm in Scottsville,Ky. at the library. We are camping at The Barren River Lakr tailwaters campground. Although the season is over there is free camping with water and a dump. Can't beat that. I don't know why more people don't take advantage of that. There are 46 sites and we are the only ones there. We are right on the river fishing, walking and laying in the sun. We plan on staying 2 more weeks.
