Waterfall

There is a small mountain stream that comes down the mountain and makes a small waterfall beside of the tunnel. It is nice after walking out here on a hot day and sticking your hands in the cool water. We are having another great time at another great place.

Tunnel

This is the tunnel that we walk to each day. It is about 3/4 mile long and has water and mud in it so we have never walked through it.

Trail

This is part of the trail that starts 50 yards from where we are parked. It is part of Rails to Trails that goes through West Union. It is where the railroad used to come through years ago and they have taken up the rails and ties and have made hiking trails. These are all through West Virginia. The foto is a bridge going over a state road.

These 5 deer come out every day to feed beside our motor home. This is our 13th day of no campground fees and we've had some nice spots.

Blackberry Festival

We went to the Clarksburg Blackberry Festival, which was actually in Nutter Fort,West Virginia saturday evening. We heard the singing group of the 60's by the name of The Vogues. Of course we had to have a dish of fresh blackberry cobbler with a scoop of ice cream on top. Oh it tasted real good. Nancy and I need to get back on our diet.

West Union,West Viginia

We are here in West Union visiting our youngest daughter,Sherry. We are able to be free parked behind her house in the church parking lot and an electric cord running from her house. We don't have any plans so we don't know how long we will be here. Thats the nice thing about full timing is to not make any plans.

This is one section of Cave Run Lake which stretches out in all directions. If you are a fisherman this lake is for you. Everyone we saw fishing caught plenty of them.

That is what the guy asked thats on the verizon commercial. If anyone sees him tell him not at the Cave Run Lake area in Kentucky. We are finally able to get a digital signal and posting again. The picture is the side view of our campsite we had at the Twin Knobs Campground. We enjoyed this area.
