Back to walking

I seem too finally beginning to be getting stronger as each day goes by so Sunday, I decided to do a little walking.

I thought James E Grey Preserve would be a good place to go to.

To the starting area there is a board because that's where the river backs up to make it swampy.

There are different kind of berries along the trails and the birds seem to be enjoying eating them.

More berries.

In some places the swamp is 3-4 foot deep.

Near the end of the boardwalk is a covered resting place.

Start of the dirt trail.

Couple of benches by the water for a relaxing rest.

Kayak launch to make it easy to put kayak in the water.

Here are a couple of kayakers enjoying the water and a very nice day.

My short walk ended up being two miles long.  I have to tell you my legs could feel it Monday morning.

Thanks for stopping and have a great day.

Glad to see you are finally able to get out and enjoy the beauty around. If you keep it up the muscle pains will disappear, and you will feel even better. Maybe Nancy might join you on some of your shorter walks.
Nice Pictures of the area.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.
