We made it

We started the trip Friday by taking the two lane roads but didn't stay on them for very long.
I got on I-20 and boogied down the road for around 20 miles then it was back on a two lane road.

In less then an hour we were in the town of Eatonton and facing the grand old court house.
Nancy and I love to see these type of old court houses that have character rather than the new ones that are just another square building.

From Eatonton it was another twenty minutes until we were entering the Lake Sinclair National Campground in hopes that we would have one of the five electric sites open.
The first site was taken as well as the second  one , but when we saw the third one was open, there was a "whew" let out as was a smile on our face.

After pulling into the site, setting up I went to the pay station to pay our fee, we then ate our supper and settled in for a little relaxing.

When we woke up this morning it was 33 °.   Now wait a minute that is to cold for us two old people.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day.

Glad you lucked out on the electric site but you are far from alone wondering what Nature is doing sending a cold blast that far south.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.
