Last day here

This is why we travel the back roads and stay in the National Forest Campgrounds.  We get in the car and make a 50 mile circle(not all in the same day)to look at the scenery and all the different things.
Sometimes a photo may look better if it is in black and white.
There's a for sale sign on the building I don't know if it was for the washing machine or the building with everything included. Might make a good deal on the whole thing.
A fixer upper house not much but a lot of nice land.
We have had a good time here and in the area of Parsons Mountain Lake in the Sumter National Forest just south of Abbeville, South Carolina but it is time for us to move on.  Tomorrow we will be going to Petersburg Corp of Engineers Campground on the shore of J. Strom Thurmond Lake on the Georgia side. This campground is 12 miles north of Evans. We went down to look the area over some and the town has a bit of everything you would need.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

While at the Thurmond Lake campground you might want to say Hello to Paul and Marti Dahl. They volunteer there the last few years. They also write the blog R Sanity RV Adventures.
Looking forward to reading about your next adventure.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.

Love that old truck! We are always driving around the back roads as well once we settle in at the campground. You see some really amazing stuff out there. Love the blog!
