Sunday

Well its another start of a new week. After the report from the lung doctor friday that the CT scan shows no change of the spot on my lung was good news.
So we have plans of leaving Port Richey this coming friday. I will have to take the copies of the scans with me because I'm to have another scan in three months to keep a check on the lung. If this next one shows no change then I'll get one in 6 months. Ater church today we'll see what we can get into.

Eating

After church we went out to eat. Nancy was wanting to try out New York Pasta and Pizza restaurant. She had spaghetti with meatballs and I had Alfredo Fettucine. It was ok but,both of us were dissapointed as we have eaten better.

"Old Glory"

Theres just something about seeing a large flag flying in the wind. I guess I'm old enough and have seen our country in many wars,that I know the pain and suffering that it takes to keep the flag flying. May she keep flying forever.

Eating Out

We went to the Steak 'n Shake to eat today. This was the first time in years that we have eaten at a Steak 'n Shake. The food was good and fresh and delicious and the chocolate yogurt shake that Nancy had was huge. She couldn't drink all of it.

Another Day

Just another palm tree and sunny day here in New Port Richey,Florida.
Of course still waiting for the end of June to get here.

Missed

Well we did go to Sherrys to avoid the high winds but Alberto turned and they only got around 30 mph winds here. We would have been just fine if we stayed here in New Port Richey,we didn't know though and Nancy would have been nervous. We had a nice two day visit with Sherry so no harm there.

Alberto

Looks like Tropical Storm Alberto is headed our way. These kind of things make Nancy very nervous. With the winds picking up and as of now they may reach 65 mph or more I guess we will head on up to our daughter Sherry in Valdosta Georgia to stay a couple of nights. We have the awning up and the chairs and table bungee corded together,hopeful they won't blow away.

Beautiful Morning

It is pleasent right now but,it will heat up to 90* later on.
We woke up to the songs of the birds this morning and that sounded nice with the window at the head of our bed open.
Today Nancy and I both need a haircut so after we do a few things off we go to get it done. She is going to Hot Heads and I will go to my barber shop.

Hair Cuts

First Nancy went and got hers at Hot Heads.

Then I went to this little shop that is run by an old couple and their son.

Look at that price. Can you believe it? Also it is a good hair cut.

Finally some good news

I went to the cardiogist this morning. He went over the stress test report and the echogram. He said it looks better than he thought it would be. Hooray!! He also said I could drive the motorhome and take-off with it the last of June. This is the news I have been waiting on for a long time. Can't wait til I'm on the road again.

Eating Out

After church once again we went out for dinner. This is nothing new,Nancy likes to eat out especially on Sundays. Today we tried out the Hillbilly Cafe. This is the first time here. It was ok but,nothing special.

Rain

After being dry for so long we got much needed rain yesterday. It was a nice soaking rain. Today is another laundry day. They seem to come awful quick and close together. I quess we have to have clean clothes though.
