We went to the Anderson Park in Tarpon Springs for our walk today. The Park is surrounded by Tarpon Lake. The lake has a lot of green grass and weeds in the outer fringes..
This is the travels of Joe and Nancy. Nancy is part Cherokee and I'm Hungarian, thus the name of our blog. We started full timing May,1,2000. We traveled in our motorhome visiting beaches, state parks, national parks, corp of engineer parks. We have overnighted in Walmarts, 24 hour grocery store, boat ramps, FlyingJ. Now with health issues and old age. Plus, we have not used the motorhome in a few years, this part of our life has come to an end.
One thing that I have always enjoyed is the outdoor vegetable markets. Being here in Florida it is great to shop these year round. Bought some veggies the other day, everything taste so fresh. The tomatoes were .69 a pound, now that was a good deal. Considering the cost in Walmart was 1.56. The temperature today got up to 76* .
The river walk in this park is nice and brezzy on a warm day. Along the walkway are park benches and picnic tables for sitting around. You can pass the day away watching the boats as they go lazily along the river or you might try your luck fishing. Whichever you choose you will have a relaxing day.
