Hurricane Maria

We have been here for two days Nancy and I have been resting up from the traveling that we have had and it sure does feel good not doing much of anything.

Of course while resting there are still a few things that has to be taken care of like the usual cleaning and keeping a check on things.
One of the important things that I have been putting off was the black water valve has been leaking for to long but in order to change it I had to wait for when we had a full hook up.
We had a full hook up the first of this month at our Family Reunion that was for three or four days and I didn't want to be doing that to take away time from visiting.
So this weekend was a good time to give the black tank a good flushing and change the valve.
It took a little time doing it because like so many things the designer on motor homes and cars never think about making it easy to repair stuff and kind of putting it in hard to reach places.

But now that's finished so on to the next item in order to be worked on whatever may come up.

It looks like it will be a few days for us going to the beach with Hurricane Maria setting out there in the Atlantic.
We are here in Sunset Beach on the border between North Carolina and South Carolina which is in no danger as of now.
Only rain and 5 to 9 foot high waves with rain.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Glad you are still Safe and Sound not feeling the effects of the Hurricanes.
Saving those fun chores when you feel comfortable doiing them is always wise.
Either I missed it or you haven't reported if your Seasonal Park was hit by Irma.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.
