The cataract surgery

Monday at 9:15 am my ride to the Florida Eye Institute where the ophthalmologist is to perform the cataract surgery.
The driver pulled up to the door where someone came out to check me in before I was allowed to go in while wearing a face mask.  Of course the waiting room had social distancing seating.

It wasn't long before going in and getting prepped then I was out like a light.  I don't know what they had but I've never been put to sleep so fast in my  life.
Even after the surgery was over and upon awakening I don't remember a thing.  As a matter of fact I don't remember getting into the car to ride back home.  The first ting I remember is opening the door to the motorhome, that is a scary feeling.

Yesterday I went in to get checked to see how everything was with the eye.  It seems as though the  cornea of the eye is swollen, but the doc said it would be ok in a few days.  I hope so because the vision out of that eye right now is like looking through a fog.
I got three different eye drops to take every two hours.

Anyway the  ophthalmologist is going to do the right eye this coming Monday, "the fun never stops.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Glad they've taken the first step to correcting your vision in your right eye but am surprise they are not giving it a longer healing time before doing the other. You'll definitely need new glasses after this.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.
