Off to the market I went

I hope all of you are safe and doing well.

I managed to stay in until yesterday when I set up my grill to do some grilling.
There was a pound of ground beef I took out of the freezer the night before, so patted out four nice patties for the grill. After seasoning them real good I realized that we didn't have tomatoes and a cheeseburger without a tomato just doesn't taste right.

So I got in the car and headed out for the roadside produce stand just fifteen minutes from the house.

As you can see I got more that tomatoes.  I came home with cucumbers, green peppers, pears, plums, corn on the cob and of course the tomatoes.
I was so in a hurry wanting to taste the very good cheeseburgers I forgot to take a photo.

This morning I extended my walking time by getting out on the sidewalk that is beside the highway.

I enjoyed the new walking range as I saw these wild flowers growing along the side walk.

Also these small violet flowers that do not show up very well in the photo.

With the walk along the highway I was able to extend my walking time as well as extend my distance.

I will no doubt get out to the store sometime in this week, as I found some face masks that I had put away from another project that I had been doing.

If you have to get out, please used some kind of face covering.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day.

That must have been a tasty Cheeseburger for you to not take its picture.
Glad to read that you are getting some Exercise.
They say Masks won't help protect yourselves but I say they do from Personal Experience.
Be Safe and Wear your Mask while Enjoying nature.

It's about time.

The mask may or not help you but you may have contracted the virus without knowing so. The mask will protect from you spreading it to those around you and thereby break the cycle. Together we can do what none of us can do alone. Keep on keepin on. Be Well.
