Hot Dogs Today

A good sleep last with the window open as we have had all the time we have been here beside of Lake Thurmond.  I was up and on my computer as usual each morning reading the blogs and looking at the emails.

Then Nancy gets up when she has given me time to finish up.  She asked what I wanted for breakfast so I told her that the sausage biscuits that we bought at the Kroger Store the day before would do.
After finishing breakfast and another cup of coffee it was time to get ready for the day.

I've been thinking it was a good time to put a coat of the Fast-Drying Polyurethane on the new face of the slide out that I did a few weeks ago.  By the time I was finished up with that I had put two coats of the polyurethane on the boards and it will take several coats because it is soaking into the boards.

Next up was to grill some hot dogs for supper on the small propane table top grill.
I use the 20lb. propane tank that I have to accompany the use with the on board propane tank on the motorhome. I use the 20lb. tank on the motorhome when we are parked for a few days or weeks, because I don't want to run out with the onboard tank and have to tear down camping to go to fill the onboard tank.
We have seen many type of boats on the lake, but this is the first time for seeing a couple of paddle boarders.
Here are some guys that will be out on the lake for a while fishing.  The lights are turned on, on the front and back of the boat.
There are always a few boaters heading in at sunset.
I always looked forward to the sunset show of the evening.  I've seen many show endings but nothing can compare to the sunset at the end of a day.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Even on the road you are keeping yourself busy. You might have to put Sizing on the wood first otherwise it will just continue to suck in the finish. Grilling hot-dogs like that is a great way to relax.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It's about time.
