Sunset Beach,North Carolina

After traveling for 2 days we arrived in Sunset Beach yesterday.  I got off I-16 and took alt-17 north in Savannah,Ga. Here is a bridge we went over that gave us a spectacular view.
I like these 2 lane roads they are so much nicer and you can see many different little towns that you never see driving on the interstate highways.  Here is a beautiful tree lined drive on us 17.
I went through the business route in Myrtle Beach. They have about as many mini golf courses as they do the big golf courses.  Sunset Beach is only 10-12 miles north of Myrtle Beach. It is a short distance on the North Carolina side.
Nancy and I are going to take it easy for a while.  We have covered around 2200 miles in the car and motorhome in the last week and that is too many miles for us.

Great pictures! We know all too well of the difficulty of finding useful information on new camping/park sites. I'd like to share with you a new (Free) iPhone app that should help with planning future RV/camping trips. We're quite proud of our app. Which lists 18,000 parks & lets you search for new parks by current location, state or city. Feel free to email me back with any questions or feedback on how we can improve our app and/or website. All of our reviews are created by real RV enthusiasts like yourself.

Useful website - RVParking.com is a community site where anyone can review campgrounds, state parks and RV parks that they have visited for free.
